When tiling areas where standing water may exist (such as showers or wetroom floors), it is essential to use anti-slip tiles (or more accurately) slip resistant tiles/mosaics.
Slip resistance is measured and categorised into shod and barefoot classifications - the former given a rating such as R10 and the latter A, B or C. The C rating is the highest barefoot category and offers a high degree of slip resistance consistent with the cleaning and maintenance of anti-slip tiles. Should you need further guidance on this subject, we shall be happy to oblige, but please do not use non anti-slip tiles in wet areas - particularly showers, as your safety is of paramount importance to us. All JASBA mosaic tiles (except metallic finishes) have the additional benefit of HYDROTECT "self cleaning" glaze. (Please refer to FAQ's for more detailed explanation and to request your free DVD).
